Hanging out in the dorm!
Easter Break!
Hello everyone!
I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday weekend! I know I sure did! I stayed in my dorm room all weekend and did nothing!!! Woo Hoo! Now I know you are probably standing from pure adrenaline-filled excitement, but if I may ask, please sit down and hear me out on the rest of my weekend.
Prior to the holiday, I was studying my butt off for some last minute quizzes and papers due before the break. It was exciting because I knew that once Wednesday night hit, I was home free!
When the break finally came, I was somewhat apathetic. Knowing that I had little homework to do over break, I soon began to put off my schoolwork until the last minute. (This, my viewers, is called PROCRASTINATING. That is where you decide to not do your homework during a time period when you should do it, and just aimlessly search the Internet. I did this purposefully to show you the negative effect it has on college students all across the country) Nonetheless, I eventually finished my make up readings for my classes and even did some recreational reading as well!
As far as keeping active and physically fit, I managed to do pretty well! I lifted almost everyday over break, and the days I didn’t lift, I went for a nice 3-4 mile run around the city. The scenery is truly beautiful when you run around in the spring time. Moreover, with a nice breeze outside, it can make running quite comfortable. If you ever come to SLU, I highly recommend going on a run or two! :)
Well that’s all I have for you this week! See, it wasn’t so bad, right?
